Marriott Vacation Club resorts support Primary Children's Hospital

Marriott’s Summit Watch and Marriott’s Mountainside, two Marriott Vacation Club resorts in Park City, Utah, recently gave their time and talents in support of local kids treated at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City.

The associates from both resorts collaborated to make tie-blankets to donate to their local hospital, bringing warmth and cheer to patients while receiving treatment.

In 2017, Mountainside and Summit Watch together raised over $16,500 for Primary Children’s Hospital by hosting year-round fundraising events. Fundraising activities include RFID wristband room key sales, s’mores kits, donor recognition walls and more. These funds support charitable care, life-saving equipment, education, research and special services at the local CMN Hospital.

Marriott’s Summit Watch resort features a wall of decorative skis, fitting for the resort’s spot in Park City, Utah. Families and individual donors can see their names featured prominently near the activities area in recognition for their donations to Primary Children’s Hospital.

This year, Marriott Vacations Worldwide joins CMN Hospitals in celebrating 35 years of incredible partnership, all in support of local sick and injured kids.

CMN Hospitals was founded 35 years ago in 1983, and Marriott International was the first corporate partner to join the organizations efforts to raise money for local children’s hospitals. In the early days of the partnership, Marriott provided free rooms for celebrity guests appearing on the organization’s telethon.

Marriott Vacation Club resorts have continued this legacy and support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since Marriott Vacations Worldwide became an independent, public company in 2011. Now, 35 years later, Marriott International and MVW associates, guests and Owners have raised more than $130 million for sick and injured kids treated at CMN Hospitals.
