Miracle Story: Alex Homer, heart transplant recipient

“It wasn’t a room full of doctors and it wasn’t a big over the top something that woke up my son, it was a game.”

After spending 351 days in his Children’s Miracle Network Hospital waiting for a heart, Alex received word that they’d found a match. The surgery went well, but when he woke up he suffered from a psychosis and didn’t remember how to talk, eat, or who he or his family was. Thirteen days went by until his mom, Brynn, opened up Zynga’s Clumsy Ninja.

Thank you to Zynga for inviting Alex and his family to headquarters to meet and thank the developers of Clumsy Ninja for giving him a second chance at life.
